Whether our guests are attending a game to see their favorite player on the court or their favorite artist Illuminate the stage, as our Senior Content Manager, you function as the organizational voice of the Trail Blazers on digital platforms by capturing, requesting and sharing content across social media channels. Lead the organization’s constant evolution on social while helping to guide strategy and promotion of organizational initiatives.

Day-to-day:

  • Day-to-day management and execution of the Trail Blazers social media content across all platforms. Maintain a consistent organizational voice that adapts to the nature of each social medium.
  • Attend Trail Blazers games (home and road), practices and events, to capture content including, but not limited to, interviews, photos, videos and behind-the-scenes content. Provide a look into the team that can only come from inside the organization.
  • Be a subject matter authority for corporate partnership, brand strategy, DEI, digital marketing and other areas of the business in content creation and implementation. Participate in the strategy for promoting organizational initiatives and campaigns.
  • Take a leading role in the organization’s social media strategy on all networks, including identifying and ideating for added content channels and features as they become available.
  • Keep informed of emerging trends in social media and innovations in online content delivery and monetization. Track and supervise digital content series and report back to internal clients.
  • Manage the Digital Content Coordinator, who will assist with collecting and sharing social and web content.

We’d like to hear from you if you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required in Marketing, Digital or other related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress
  • Ability to work flexible hours that will include nights, weekends and select holidays based on event schedule
  • Minimum 5+ years of related work or internship experience
  • A passion for and understanding of digital and social media channels and trends
  • Ability and curiosity about leading people and projects
  • Effective communication and ability to work well within a team
  • Strong work ethic and ability to learn on the job
  • Can be forward-thinking and work on a variety of projects
  • Knowledge of and curiosity about sports and entertainment is preferred
