As our Assistant Production Manager, you will support technical operations for a wide range of sporting events, concerts, family shows, and conventions held at the Rose Quarter. This role reports to the Sr. Manager of Production and will join a team 4 production managers. The Assistant Production Manager is responsible for executing venue setup configuration to maximize the event results for our clients while maintaining a safe and fun environment for our guests and staff.

 

 

DAY-TO-DAY:
• Support the preparation of pre-event planning materials including but not limited to CAD drawings, labor and equipment costs, and schedules.
• Assist with event production load-in, show and load out process to ensure a seamless execution of the event.
• Complete billing of clients for labor, equipment and rented equipment
• Act as point of contact for assigned events for show production personnel regarding technical aspects of the event.
• Provide game day technical support for Trail Blazers games and auxiliary functions.
• Maintain selected facility electronic systems including sound, timing, scoring, radio re-transmission and signage.
• Act as the day-to-day contact for stagehands, including the coordination of safety meetings, and processing payroll.
• Provide A/V support for events and maintenance of equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to make critical decisions quickly in a high-paced environment.
• Aptitude to learn, understand and operate various software interfaces
• Must be comfortable with heights.
• Flexibility in working evenings and weekends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• CAD experience preferred
• Rigging experience preferred
